Luxury Apartments to Rent in Washington DC

Washington DC is a vibrant city. Not only is it close to the center of power for the Free World, but it also has exciting nightlife, rich culture, and international restaurants. The city also has eclectic and livable neighborhoods, some featuring the finest luxury apartments to rent in Washington DC

DuPont Circle

DuPont Circle is a sophisticated neighborhood with unique shops, galleries, and Beaux-Arts mansions. Embassy Row runs through the center of the Circle, and the neighborhood restaurants have all the international flavors that you’d expect. The neighborhood also has a year-round farmer’s market on Sundays.

 Logan Circle

This eight-block area features late-19th century houses facing the circular park for which the neighborhood is named, as well as some of the hippest new shops, restaurants, and nightclubs. Victorian and Richardsonian Romanesque architecture blends with quirky shops and big-name retailers. This neighborhood also is within an easy walk to almost everything the city has to offer.

14th Street

This walkable North-South thoroughfare from U Street to Rhode Island Avenue is at the heart of the action in the District. It features brasseries, cafes, and coffee shops, and many of the city’s fine dining establishments. It also is home to the new Trader Joe’s market.

Kalorama

Kalorama, which is Greek for fine view,  features stately homes overlooking the 2,100-acre Rock Creek Park. It is one of the District’s most distinguished addresses and is home to many diplomats and government officials. This neighborhood is quietly elegant and is a place to come home to escape from the bustle.

Woodley Park

This neighborhood of elegant row houses also features the National Zoo, home to giant pandas, and many other species of animals. Also iconic are the Marilyn Monroe mural and bridges named for the musician Duke Ellington and President Taft. Even though Connecticut Avenue, a major thoroughfare, runs through it, the neighborhood is green and serene.

Columbia Heights

This neighborhood in the city’s northwest quadrant is filled with diversity. Meridian Hill, a nearby two-story European-style park features terrazzo walls, statues, and fountains. Local and national eateries and bars buzz with young professionals, both single and married, with children. The neighborhood also boasts a strong sense of community and many local schools and parks.

Rosslyn

Rosslyn is located in Virginia, along the Potomac River, just across from the DC’s Georgetown neighborhood. Restaurants and bars share the community with the iconic Iwo Jima Memorial. The area also has an annual jazz festival. It is excellently located for easy access to work or play in both DC and Northern Virginia.

The national capital area is a great place to live with plenty of luxury apartments to rent in Washington DC.
